Lighting Practice

Recently we were introduced to many different lighting concepts. Each of these concepts are used in film making in order create different moods and portray emotions and thoughts of the characters.
The first of these lighting styles is high key lighting, used to create a bright vibrant feel to the shot. Here is the example photo me and phoebe took:
The next type of lighting we learned about is natural light. This is simply light created by natural sources. Here is our example:
The next one is background lighting which usually creates a silhouette of the characters in the shot, commonly used in romance movies. Here is our go at it:
Another lighting type we learned about was Chiaroscuro lighting. This is where light is used to create an extreme contrast between objects/parts of the shot. For example:
Finally, we learned about artificial lighting. This is where man made light is used for a specific effect whether that is to create a warm look or maybe a glow of an unusual colour depending on the scene. Here is the example we took:
